What these pages use

A cookie is a small record that a website can ask your browser to store and return with later requests. LocalStorage is different: it stores information for a site in your browser and is not automatically attached to network requests.

The supplied site scripts do not set cookies. They can save a preference record in localStorage when you use the controls below. The pages contain no optional analytics, advertising pixels or third-party embedded media. Choosing Accept All does not activate tracking because none is implemented.

Your storage preference

You can record either choice. Both currently leave the site free of optional tracking. The choice applies only to this browser and site origin.

JavaScript is needed to display or save a browser preference. No optional tracking is used.

The preference record

The key is pufftinkerpuzzl-consent. Its value contains the choice, either “all” or “essential”, and the time it was updated. It is written only after an explicit selection. It contains no name, email address, contact message or advertising identifier.

The record has no automatic expiry in this implementation. It remains until you change the choice, clear the site’s storage or your browser removes it. If storage is blocked, the site continues to work and reports that the choice could not be saved.

How to clear storage

Use your browser’s site-data settings to remove storage for pufftinkerpuzzl.com. This resets the recorded preference. Private browsing may discard the record when the session ends. Clearing a preference does not remove an email you have already sent or a text file you have downloaded.

Other browser features

Browser caching, form autofill, downloads and clipboard contents are controlled separately by your browser and operating system. The contact tool does not use localStorage for drafts. Copying text places it on your clipboard only after you choose Copy; downloading creates a file only after you choose Download.

Future changes

If optional technologies are introduced, this page and the relevant controls must be updated to describe their purpose and providers before they are used where consent is required. A current preference is not a blanket explanation of technologies that do not yet exist on the site.
